What got you interested in triathlons? Did you start racing in triathlons, or did you start with an individual sport - swimming, running, or biking? _________________ My Blog: Vegan Triathlete - Triathlon Blog

I started as a swimmer who was a cardio junkie when it came to cross training in the off season. So I figured I would put it to use. I ended up participating in a weekly sprint event and I was never in better shape. I have enjoyed triathlons ever since. _________________ Anyone who thinks Triathlons are an individual sport should try training alone! |

I was working for a company that sponsored a corporate tri - and did that with them.. That was about 3 years ago now...
I'm only now starting to train myself up again to compete again. |

Last April I was looking for 'an event' that was different and new to me and far enough in the future to constitute something I could train for.
That lead me to doing the My First/My Next triathlon series in Harrison Mills, BC.
I was hooked! |

I saw how well in shape some triathletes were and it made me want to become one. I guess you could say that I just wanted a triathete's body. _________________ I got Fiber35 |
